The Opranic THOR 2000 W is a freestanding infrared heater for patios, balconies and sheltered outdoor seating areas. Its upright design directs warmth towards people and surfaces in front of the heater. It can also provide supplementary indoor warmth where permitted by the original product manual.

Adjust the warmth from your seat

The supplied remote control lets you switch the heater on, return it to standby and select one of five outputs: 1200, 1400, 1600, 1800 or 2000 W. An LED display shows the selected setting. This model does not have a timer.

Lightweight aluminium construction

The black aluminium body has a plastic base and carry handle. At approximately 4.2 kg, the heater is practical to reposition when switched off, unplugged and fully cool. The supplied two-piece base must be fitted before use, and the heater must stand on a firm, level surface.

Warmth for sheltered spaces

The IR-X element and parabolic reflector provide directed radiant warmth. The IP34 rating provides splash protection; choose a sheltered position and follow the original manual’s instructions for placement and storage. Electronic tip-over protection switches off the heater if it tilts.

The published coverage guide for this model is approximately 4–10 m² outdoors, depending on temperature and wind. In wind-protected areas at an ambient temperature of at least 10°C, the published guide is 12–20 m². These figures are indicative, and the distance between the heater and the seating area affects comfort.

Protective cover

A protective cover is available separately and is not included with this heater. Fit a cover only when the heater is switched off, unplugged and fully cool. Remove the cover completely before using the heater.
