Auto-Restart Function for Central Power Control

A unique advantage of the PRO V70R is its auto-restart function for central power control. When this function is enabled, the heater automatically returns to its previous operating state after the external power supply has been switched off and on again.

This is especially useful in restaurants, cafés and other professional installations where several heaters are controlled from one central wall switch, timer, contactor or main power circuit.

How to Switch Auto-Restart Function On or Off

Auto-Restart Function can be switched on or off directly with the remote control.

Make sure the heater display shows “- -“.
Press the buttons on the remote control in this exact order:

MAX > P+ > P- > MAX

If the display briefly shows “r1”, Auto-Restart Function is enabled.
If you repeat the same sequence and the display briefly shows “r0”, Auto-Restart Function is disabled.
When Auto-Restart Function is disabled, the heater starts in standby mode after power is restored.

Only change this setting when “- -“ is visible on the display.
