STAR V40 Portable Infrared Patio Heater 1800W

The STAR V30 is a portable infrared patio heater built for flexibility. Unlike fixed wall-mounted heaters, it delivers 1800W of efficient infrared warmth directly to people and objects, not the surrounding air, so no heat is wasted. Use it on the included stand, mount it on the wall, or hang it from the ceiling.

Design and Safety Features

The STAR18RS features a aluminum housing designed for everyday use. It includes built-in safety features such as automatic tip-over protection, which switches the unit off if it falls.

Functionality and Control

The heater is remote-controlled and offers easy operation with:

• 3 power levels
• Up to 9-hour timer function
• Electronic thermostat function

The unit can be used in different setups:

• Mounted on the included stand or on the wall / ceiling. (requires that the electronic tilt switch is turned off)
• Used with the included adjustable stand (1.0 – 1.4 meters)

DEACTIVATE TITLT SWITCH FOR STAR18RS

The tilt protection can be disabled. Please follow the instructions below:

“E3” indicates that the tilt switch is activated.

It is possible to deactivate the tilt switch. We have made it deliberately more challenging to prevent customers from accidentally disabling it. I will explain the steps one by one:

1. First, you need to unplug and reconnect the heater. (Have the remote control ready because you only have a few seconds to make the changes after reconnecting.)
2. Immediately after reconnecting, when you see the lights circling, you must press the timer button (bottom-right), the thermostat button (bottom-left), and the level button (center) within 2 seconds.
3. If you did this part correctly, you should see the letter A or P on the display. This means you succeeded.
4. Since the default setting is for the tilt-over switch to be active, you should see the letter A. Now, you can use the + and – buttons to toggle between A and P. To deactivate the tilt switch, set it to P, and then you can turn off the unit using the power button.
   When you turn it on again, the tilt switch should be deactivated, and it will remain so unless you repeat the steps to activate it again.
