Quiet pedestal fans for bedrooms, living rooms and offices. The Opranic A70R moves about 19 m³ of air a minute from about 29 dB(A), with twelve speeds, 3D oscillation, ioniser and remote control. Just Air. Silent.
A fan has one job: to move air across your skin. Everything else it does, you should not notice. The Opranic A70R is built on that idea. Its circular head directs a focused airstream into the room, and the brushless DC motor lets you set the breeze exactly as strong as you want it.
Use it for a gentle airflow while you sleep, a steady breeze at the desk or a stronger stream across the seating on a warm evening.

At full height the A70R stands on the floor and sends its airstream across the bed, the sofa or the dining table. The slim pedestal takes little floor space.

Remove the pedestal pole and the fan body connects directly to the base. At about 70 cm it suits a place beside the desk or on a sideboard.

The A70R runs on 12 V DC. With a compatible power bank it works away from the socket, on the patio or the balcony in dry weather. The power bank is not included.
See the A70RThe touch panel and the remote control offer the same functions: power, speed, oscillation, mode, timer and ioniser. The brushless DC motor is controlled electronically in twelve steps from 600 to 1,690 rpm. Normal mode holds the speed you choose. Nature mode lets the breeze rise and fall, and sleep mode becomes gentler over time.
The A70R at its full 25 W, with electricity at €0.38 per kWh. Eight hours through the night cost about €0.08, and lower speeds use less.
The sound level starts at about 29 dB(A) at speed 1. The figure is preliminary and refers to the lowest speed, so the fan becomes more audible as you turn it up. With twelve speeds you can choose the point where you feel the air and no longer notice the fan.
For a steady, gentle airflow through the night, choose a low speed in normal mode and aim the fan above the mattress. Sleep mode varies the speed in waves that become gentler over time. The timer switches the fan off after 1 to 8 hours.
The A70R uses up to 25 W, depending on the speed and the functions you select. At full power that is about €0.01 per hour with electricity at €0.38 per kWh, and less at the low speeds most people use at night.
A fan moves air and does not lower the temperature of the room. The moving air carries warmth away from your skin, so you feel cooler while you sit or lie in the airstream. That is why direction and oscillation matter more than raw power.
The A70R has a built-in ioniser that releases negative ions when you switch it on. It has its own button on the touch panel and on the remote control, so you can use every airflow function with ionisation switched off. The ioniser works only while the fan is running.
The body turns 135° from side to side and the head turns a full 360°. You choose body movement, head movement or both together, or stop the oscillation to keep the air on one spot. Leave at least 50 cm of free space around the fan.
With a compatible 20,000 mAh power bank the A70R runs for about 3.5 hours at speed 12 with oscillation and ioniser switched off, or about 9 hours at speed 7. The power bank must supply 12 V DC at 1.5 A or more. A power bank limited to 5 V is not compatible.
The A70R comes in Anthracite, White and Black. The five-year warranty covers the motor, the electronics, the remote control and the mains adaptor. In the box: fan, pedestal pole, base, mains adaptor, remote control and manual.
