Freestanding warmth for longer evenings outdoors
Make more of your patio with the Opranic S70R. This freestanding outdoor heater directs warmth towards your seating area, whether you are having dinner at home or welcoming guests to a restaurant terrace. The remote control lets you adjust the heat without leaving your seat.

Warmth in seconds
The IR-X Carbon Black™ element reaches full output in three to five seconds. Its peak wavelength is 2.2 µm, and the premium reflector directs radiant heat towards your seating area. The element has a rated service life of up to approximately 12,000 hours.
Adjust the heat from your seat
Choose from five heat settings, from 920 W to 2300 W, using the remote control or the controls on the heater. Set the timer to switch the heater off automatically after 1 to 9 hours. The warmth you feel depends on your distance from the heater, the air temperature and the wind.
Aluminium body with a cast-iron base
The premium aluminium unibody stands on a cast-iron base measuring 39 × 26 cm. This gives the 106 cm tower a low centre of gravity. Electronic tip-over protection switches off the heating if the unit is knocked over. Before first use, attach the base with the supplied screws and place the heater on a firm, level surface, following the manual.
Choosing a heater for your space
The S70R suits restaurant and café terraces, hotel courtyards and patios at home. As a guide, one heater covers approximately 11 m² in a sheltered area with little wind, based on 200 W/m² at full power. On larger patios, two heaters facing each other can help distribute the warmth more evenly.

Placement and minimum clearances
Stand the S70R on a firm, level surface with its front facing the seating area. Keep the following minimum clearances around the heater:

For comfortable warmth, position the heater approximately 1.5–4 m from the seating area. A 2300 W tower draws 10 A: use one tower per circuit and, outdoors, an RCD-protected socket. Route the power cable away from walkways.
Running cost
At full power, the S70R uses 2.3 kWh of electricity in one hour. At €0.38/kWh, that costs around €0.87 per hour. Lower heat settings use proportionally less electricity. Because the heater warms people and surfaces directly, you can switch it on when you need it.
Moving and covering the heater
Switch off, unplug and allow the heater to cool for 10–15 minutes before moving it. An optional protective cover is available for use when the heater is switched off, unplugged and fully cool.
Five-year warranty
The S70R comes with a five-year warranty on the heater and its electronics under normal use. The heating tube is covered for two years. Full terms are set out in the user manual.
Use in conservatories and enclosed rooms
Ecodesign Regulation (EU) 2024/1103 sets requirements for electric heaters used in enclosed rooms, including electronic room temperature control with a weekly timer and open-window detection. The Opranic S70R meets the requirements of the regulation for portable radiant heaters. Follow the clearances and instructions in the user manual wherever the heater is used.
