The Opranic P6 Hybrid infrared wall heater combines radiant warmth with gentle convection in a slim, white panel. Plug it in and turn the built-in thermostat dial to adjust the heat. Available in 550 W and 900 W, it has a silk-matt finish and is 4 cm deep.

Comfortable warmth, controlled with a dial

The Opranic P6 Hybrid infrared wall heater brings together radiant warmth and gently circulating warm air. Turn the built-in thermostat dial to adjust the heat, with no separate controller to buy or wire in. It is a practical choice for bedrooms, home offices, bathrooms, holiday homes and other rooms used occasionally.

How the P6 heats your room

The front of the panel emits long-wave infrared heat, warming people and surfaces in its path. Air passes through the open metal housing and over the heating element, then rises gently from the top. This combination of infrared heat and natural convection gives the P6 its Hybrid name. You feel radiant warmth where you sit, while the circulating warm air helps the room warm up a little faster than with a closed panel.

The panel converts approximately 99% of the electricity it uses into heat. Your heating costs depend on how much heat the room loses, the temperature you choose and how long the panel runs. The conversion figure alone does not guarantee lower bills.

Built-in thermostat

The built-in mechanical thermostat regulates the panel’s surface temperature. Turn the dial to adjust the heat to your preferred level. The thermostat then switches the panel on and off to maintain that setting. Position the panel within reach so you can adjust the dial when needed.

For weekly schedules, open-window detection or control from your phone, choose a compatible external room thermostat with the features you need. The P6 works with plug-in thermostats and smart-home controls from other manufacturers. Place the room sensor away from the panel so it can measure the room temperature accurately. External thermostats are sold separately.

Choose the right size for your room

Choose between the 550 W and 900 W models. As a starting point, allow around 100 W per square metre in an insulated room with a 2.4 m ceiling. Older buildings, large areas of glazing and higher ceilings may need more heating power. Larger rooms may benefit from several panels positioned around the space.

Wall-mounted or freestanding

Use the supplied locking bracket to mount the P6 horizontally on a wall. The panel is 4 cm deep, with a total installed depth of approximately 5.3 cm including the bracket.

Optional metal feet let you use the P6 as a freestanding heater and move it between rooms as needed. The feet are sold separately.

Placement and safe use

The P6 is designed for enclosed indoor spaces. Its IP24 rating provides protection against splashing water from any direction. For bathroom installation, follow the manual and the relevant electrical installation regulations, and position the panel outside the splash zone.

The surface becomes hot during use and can reach 90–110 °C. Avoid touching it while it is heating. Built-in overheating protection is a safety feature; it does not make the surface safe to touch.

Keep combustible materials at least 30 cm in front of the panel and 10 cm from its edges, including above and below.
Keep the open housing clear so that air can pass through it; do not cover the panel or hang curtains or other textiles over it.

Installing the panel

Attach the bracket to a suitable wall using the correct fixings for the wall material. Slide the panel into place and secure it with the locking bracket as shown in the manual. Mounting screws and wall plugs are included. For effective heating, position the panel no more than 3–4 m from the area you want to warm.

Three-year warranty

The P6 comes with a three-year warranty covering the panel and heating element under normal use. Keep your proof of purchase and refer to the warranty terms in the manual.

This product is only suitable for well-insulated spaces or occasional use.
