Opranic PRO V70R Patio Heater, Wall and Ceiling Mounted, with Remote Control

The Opranic PRO V70R is a patio heater for wall and ceiling mounting, designed for spaces that are heated evening after evening: restaurant patios, hotel courtyards, covered outdoor dining and frequently used residential terraces. It mounts on a wall, a ceiling or an awning bracket and leaves the floor clear, while five power levels, a long-range remote, a timer and Auto-restart mode put the whole patio under control.

Full heat in seconds, aimed at the guests

The IR-X Carbon Black element reaches full output three to five seconds after switching on, with its peak at 2.2 µm. The Pro parabolic reflector directs the radiant heat towards the guests rather than into the air, so the warmth is felt even when the evening is cold. The element is rated for up to approximately 12,000 hours.

Control from your seat

Choose one of five power levels from 920 W to 2300 W with the long-range remote control, or use the controls on the patio heater itself. The timer switches the heater off after 1 to 9 hours. Actual comfort depends on mounting height, the distance to the seating area, the temperature and wind exposure.

Auto-restart mode for central switching

Auto-restart mode is designed for patios with several heaters controlled from one wall switch, timer or contactor. Once enabled on each heater, every unit that was heating when the power was cut resumes at its last level when the power returns. The mode is off as delivered; the manual describes how to enable it with the remote control. A power cut resets a running timer.

Built for demanding environments

This patio heater has a powder-coated aluminium housing with painted side covers, a brushed stainless steel 18/8 grille and stainless screws. IP65 protection means the heater stays mounted outdoors all year round, through rain, snow, frost and dust, in Jet Black or Cloud White.

Where the PRO V70R belongs

Restaurant and café patios, hotel courtyards and rooftops, covered outdoor dining, pavilions, pergolas and sheltered seating areas. As a guide, one 2300 W patio heater serves approximately 6 to 11 m² of seating area at 1.8 to 2.5 m mounting height and around 10 °C outdoors; wind and open sides increase the requirement, a roof and side walls reduce it. Running cost

At full power the PRO V70R uses 2.3 kWh per hour. At an electricity price of 0.30 €/kWh that is about 0.69 € per hour, and each lower power level costs proportionally less. The comparison with gas further down the page shows what this means for a complete terrace.

Five-year warranty

The PRO V70R carries a five-year warranty covering the heater and its electronics under normal use. The heating tube is covered for two years, subject to the warranty terms in the manual.

Use in conservatories and enclosed rooms

Ecodesign Regulation (EU) 2024/1103 sets requirements for electric heaters used in enclosed rooms, including electronic room temperature control with a weekly timer and open-window detection. The Opranic PRO V70R is designed for outdoor use, including covered terraces, pergolas and open conservatories. For enclosed rooms, operate it through a room thermostat that provides these functions, or choose the Opranic S50R or S70R, which meet the requirements of the regulation for portable radiant heaters.
