Opranic P5 Metal Infrared Panel Heater, Wall and Ceiling Mounted, 300 to 900 W

The Opranic P5 brings steady radiant warmth to bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and other indoor spaces. The panel works silently, with no fan or moving parts. Its textured steel front and slim profile make it a discreet addition to the room.

How the P5 heats your room

The P5 emits long-wave infrared heat, warming people and surfaces in its path. Heating elements extend towards the edges of the panel to distribute warmth across the surface. A 2 cm layer of rear insulation and an aluminium reflector help direct the heat forwards.

The panel converts approximately 99% of the electricity it uses into heat. This describes energy conversion, not a guaranteed reduction in your heating bill. Actual energy use depends on the room’s heat loss, your chosen temperature and how long the heating runs.

Why a metal panel

Most infrared panels are built around a glass front or a thin plastic frame. The P5 has a textured steel front in a metal housing, with 2 cm of insulation and an aluminium reflector behind the element. Steel spreads the warmth evenly across the whole surface, holds its finish at a working temperature of 95 to 115 °C year after year, and stands up to everyday knocks in hallways, workshops and rented homes. That construction is why the P5 carries a five-year warranty on the panel and element, and why it costs more than a budget panel.

Choose the right size for your room

Choose from 300 W, 450 W, 700 W and 900 W models. As a starting point, allow around 100 W per square metre in an insulated room with a 2.4 m ceiling. Older buildings, large areas of glazing and higher ceilings may need more heating power. Larger rooms may benefit from several panels positioned around the space.

Temperature control

The P5 requires an external room thermostat, which is sold separately. Choose a compatible control with weekly programming and open-window detection, suitable for the panel’s electrical load. Position the room sensor away from the panel so that it measures the room temperature accurately.

Wall, ceiling or freestanding installation

Use the supplied locking bracket to mount the P5 horizontally or vertically on a wall, or on the ceiling. The panel is 2.5 cm deep, with a total installed depth of approximately 5 cm including the bracket.

For freestanding use, add the optional feet kit. Choose PF001 for the 300 W model, or PF002 for the 450 W, 700 W and 900 W models. Feet are sold separately.

Installing the panel

Fix the bracket to a suitable wall or ceiling using fixings appropriate for the surface. Slide the panel into place and secure it with the locking bracket, following the manual. Mounting hardware is included. For effective heating, position the panel no more than 3 to 4 m from the area you want to warm.

Five-year warranty

The P5 comes with a five-year warranty covering the panel and heating element under normal use. Keep your proof of purchase and refer to the warranty terms in the manual.
