Indoors, the panel does the quiet work.
No fan, no draught, no dry air. Just warm surfaces.
Our guides explain how many watts a room needs, where a panel should sit and what the energy label means in practice.
Accessories
Hybrid infrared panels with a built-in thermostat. Infrared warmth from the front and gentle convection through the open metal housing. 550 or 900 W, on the wall or freestanding on optional feet.
Infrared heating at the core, with the Opranic brand since 2015.
Our own development, from heating element to housing.
Mediumwave carbon fibre infrared. Feel the sun, not the glare.

Hybrid infrared heaters with built-in thermostat
The Opranic P6 Hybrid joins two kinds of heat in one slim white panel. The front gives long-wave infrared warmth to the people and surfaces in front of it, while air passes through the open metal housing and rises gently from the top.
You feel the radiant warmth where you sit, and the moving warm air helps the room warm up a little faster than with a closed panel.
550 or 900 W: which size fits?
Guide values for an insulated room with a 2.4 m ceiling, at around 100 W per square metre. Older buildings, large windows and higher ceilings need more.

60 × 60 cm, 4 cm deep, 7 kg. For a home office, a bathroom or a small bedroom.

100 × 60 cm, 4 cm deep, 11 kg. For a bedroom, a living area or a room in the holiday home.
How the built-in thermostat works
The mechanical thermostat regulates the surface temperature of the panel. Turn the dial to the level you like and the thermostat switches the panel on and off to hold it. Mount the panel within reach so you can adjust it. For weekly schedules, open-window detection or control from your phone, add a compatible external room thermostat, sold separately.
The P6 550 at full output, with electricity at €0.38 per kWh. The P6 900 costs about €0.34 per hour. The thermostat switches the panel off once the set level is reached, so the real cost depends on the room and on the hours you heat.
Questions about the P6 Hybrid
What does hybrid mean on an infrared heater?
Hybrid means that the P6 heats in two ways at once. The front radiates long-wave infrared heat, and the open metal housing lets air pass over the heating element and rise as natural convection. There is no fan, so the panel stays silent.
Infrared heater or convector?
A convector warms the air in the room, and an infrared panel warms the people and surfaces in front of it. The P6 Hybrid does both. You feel the radiant warmth soon after you switch on, and the rising warm air lifts the temperature in the rest of the room.
Hybrid infrared heater as a freestanding unit
With the optional metal feet the P6 stands on the floor and moves between rooms as you need it. On the wall it mounts horizontally with the supplied locking bracket. The feet are sold separately.
Can the P6 go in the bathroom?
Yes. The P6 is rated IP24, which means protection against splashing water from any direction. Mount it outside the splash zone and follow the manual and the electrical installation rules that apply where you live. Read the bathroom guide.
Power consumption: what does it cost to run?
At full output the P6 550 uses 0.55 kWh in an hour and the P6 900 uses 0.9 kWh. The panel turns about 99% of the electricity into heat. That figure describes the conversion and is no promise of a lower bill. See the running cost guide.
Clearances and safety
Keep combustible materials at least 30 cm from the front and 10 cm from the edges of the panel. Keep the open housing clear so that air can pass through, and never cover the panel or hang textiles over it. The surface reaches 90 to 110 °C and must not be touched while the panel heats. Overheating protection is built in.
What is in the box?
The P6 Hybrid in the size you chose, the locking mounting bracket, screws and wall plugs, the fixed 1.9 m power cable with plug and the user manual. The metal feet and an external thermostat are accessories and are sold separately.
Warranty
The P6 comes with a three-year warranty on the panel and the heating element, and it is CE marked. Keep your proof of purchase. This product is only suitable for well-insulated spaces or occasional use. Opranic has worked with infrared heating since 2009.
