Very nice product from a very good brand
We are very impressed with our radiant heater. The unit arrived in very good packaging. It is slender and of very good quality. We already own a unit from another brand, but in our opinion the new one from OPRANIC is by far the better-quality one. Which justifies the price. Thank you very much for the lovely product; a real eye-catcher on our terrace.

Good first impression, strange "mounting"
The infrared heater arrived well packaged and undamaged. The surface isn't mirror-smooth but has a slight orange-peel texture, as you'd expect from a powder coating, which is absolutely fine. I tested it briefly and the power consumption is as stated. What bothers me is that they could include a drilling template or simply print one on the box. That would save all installers a considerable amount of time. I've fitted quite a few of these heaters from considerably more expensive manufacturers, so I notice things like that. What I can't get my head around is the "mounting". Basically, the idea of a keyhole slot in the bracket isn't bad, but with countersunk screws that you can no longer reach, it's completely useless and wobbly. The locking mechanism doesn't help either. If you can still get at it from the side afterwards, I recommend simply screwing the heater firmly to the bracket and then attaching the bracket with suitable hex-head screws and a looong spanner (the expensive manufacturers include one of these). But even then, the whole thing is still pretty wobbly on the wall, which is clearly down to the thin, flimsy sheet metal they've used for the bracket. So there's still room for improvement mechanically. If you enjoy tinkering, you'll get along with this heater.

I was skeptical, but I was amazed at how nice the heat it provides and it is a perfect heating solution for my bathroom.
Premium warmth at the touch of a button - Highly recommended
I was looking for a powerful wall-mounted radiant heater for our summer conservatory (a good 45 m²). I already have a large non-glowing radiant heater and a cheap halogen heater (the latter was to be replaced). I wanted a high-quality unit with very good heating performance, flexible controls and an elegant design. - My non-glowing radiant heater. A good unit in itself (it gives off no visible light), but the efficiency is quite low and it takes a good 10 minutes before you feel the warmth. - Halogen heater - Was only ever intended as a "stopgap". The light is very harsh and the electricity consumption very high. After an in-depth analysis, I chose the OPRANIC PRO V70R. I'd like to briefly explain why. Heating performance & comfort - The warmth is simply phenomenal. Unlike the other radiant heaters, it feels almost like direct sunlight on your skin. Thanks to the carbon infrared technology, the warmth is there as soon as you switch it on. No long wait, no preheating! While the other heaters scatter their heat, the OPRANIC provides powerful, directed warmth that is far more efficient. Design & build quality - The V70R not only looks elegant and modern, its build quality is also of a very high standard. The casing feels extremely robust and high-quality. Operation & installation - The remote control doesn't have a cheap membrane keypad, but proper buttons. With a total of 5 heat settings (very rare), you can fine-tune the temperature and also use a timer (e.g. off after 2 hours). Anyone with a cordless drill/driver should be able to mount it on the wall. Everything you need is included (yes, even the screws are stainless steel). Support & service Questions were answered very quickly and knowledgeably, no AI or translation tool. Conclusion - I'm sitting on the terrace writing this review right now. I made the right choice, I can definitely recommend the OPRANIC 100%. Right, now I need to turn it down 2 settings, it's almost too warm :-)

Received in good condition, but on inspection it turned out that the on/off switch had no indicator light. My previous order of the same T5 model did have one. It's less practical now.

A powerful infrared heater with an even heat pattern. Mine had some minor transport damage, which was dealt with quickly and with a completely customer-focused approach. The heater does what it's supposed to and is easy to adjust with the included remote control. Looks very stylish and stands firmly. Not a plastic product but a very nice heater made entirely of metal.

I'm not just convinced by this heater, I'm delighted with it. Visually appealing, incredibly easy to handle, simple but perfect in the way it works, it produces more than enough heat in a flick of the wrist (or rather, a turn of the knob), so you soon feel comfortably warm, while using little energy. I can recommend it without reservation. A genuine branded product from a company that stands behind its products.

Opranic S50R
The Opranic S50R is a portable patio heater from the S50-Line, with a slim, upright design that fits alongside outdoor furniture. Carry it in one hand to your chosen spot, plug it in and select the heat setting that suits the weather.
IR-X Carbon Black™ delivers radiant warmth within seconds. The carbon heating element warms people and surfaces directly, making the S50R well suited to heating a seating area.
Use the supplied remote control to choose from five heat settings. Select a lower setting on a mild evening or turn up the heat as the temperature falls. Set the timer to switch the heater off automatically after 1–9 hours. You can also operate the heater using the switch on the unit. How warm you feel will depend on your distance from the heater, the air temperature and how exposed the area is to wind.
The all-metal unibody construction combines an aluminium body, a standard reflector and a cast-iron base. The metal surfaces are durable and easy to clean, with no plastic outer casing. The compact base takes up little space beside furniture. Before first use, attach the base with the supplied screws and place the heater on a firm, level surface as described in the manual.
Choose the shorter 1800 W model for a smaller seating area, or the taller 2300 W model for a higher maximum heat output. In a sheltered area with little wind, the two models provide indicative coverage of around 9 m² and 11 m² respectively. These estimates are based on 200 W/m² at full power. Colder weather, wind and positioning will affect the warmth you feel.
The freestanding design makes the S50R a practical balcony heater where wall mounting is inconvenient. On a patio or covered terrace, position it facing the seats you want to warm. As a conservatory heater, it provides direct warmth while you use the room, without heating the whole house. It can also be used on a glazed terrace. See the note on enclosed rooms below.
Place the S50R on a firm, level surface with its front facing the seating area. Keep the following minimum clearances around the heater:

The catalogue recommends a distance of approximately 1.5–4 m between the heater and the seating area for comfortable warmth. Adjust the position to suit the conditions, keeping all minimum clearances. Keep the power cable clear of walkways.
At full power, the 1800 W model uses 1.8 kWh of electricity per hour and the 2300 W model uses 2.3 kWh. At an electricity price of €0.38/kWh, this works out at €0.68 or €0.87 per hour respectively. Lower heat settings reduce electricity use and running costs in proportion to the selected output.
Switch off, unplug and allow the heater to cool for 10–15 minutes before moving it. An optional protective cover is available for use when the heater is switched off, unplugged and fully cool.
The S50R comes with a two-year warranty covering the heater, electronics, remote control and heating tube. Full terms are set out in the user manual.
Ecodesign Regulation (EU) 2024/1103 sets requirements for electric heaters used in enclosed rooms, including electronic room temperature control with a weekly timer and open-window detection. The Opranic S50R meets the requirements of the regulation for portable radiant heaters. Follow the clearances and instructions in the user manual wherever the heater is used.
